I think the idea here is to get your ftp username and password so that the ELpepe's owner could manipulate the data and access anytime he wish to? Come on guys and gals, he is also the grey-blackish type of hat....ROFL.....
Biggest Thumb down to the ELPP, the owner is harvesting emails addresses and testing your landing pages for his own purposes!!!!!! What a ridiculous marketing strategy if no blackhatters could see through this silly one!

I got logged in, but every time I try to save a new landing page, it just goes to an empty list. What gives?

I don't think that is probably the case. At least not unless you don't know what you are doing.
It takes all of 30 seconds to create a new ftp account in a cpanel that only has access to a given directory. After you've created your page and it's uploaded to the directory, what's to keep you from changing your ftp password? I think you're over reacting just a tad.
