I bought the lite version but use taurs cracks instead. On this version when I clicked to upgrade it had my paypal email already in it AND I uninstalled with revo pro so there is something they have done to id purchases as far as I can see

2. Clean PC registry with CCleaner
3. Reinstall cracked version.

I'll second that... earlier in this thread I mentioned that LTP leaves lots of entries in the Windows Registry, even if you use the best
uninstallers on the market. So once you install it once, unless you used VMWare or Sandboxie (etc), you will likely run into problems with
subsequent installations regardless of how carefully you uninstall the older versions.

There is actually an easy fix to this problem... In WinXP, once you've installed/updated to Taur's latest fix, override the crack, look for
"ltpReg.txt" in C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\ and delete it. Now restart LTP and you will have a working Platinum version.
This worked for me every time. Not sure about Win7 though.
In win7, go down one more directory and you'll find
"ltpReg.txt". So:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Roaming\
