Great stuff, guys! I would also recommend re-reading Quiet Success to see how Tony's approach is different than the launch Model.
I have rewritten one of his smaller courses as an OTO for a lead magnet and am on the third module of re-writing QS as an upsell. I will also utilize the Solo Ad training to build a list (I AM in the MMO niche).
In my re-writing, I didn't just changed the words, I used my wn real life examples in place of his. I have been fortunate to have lived an interesting life so there's that.
Also, Ben Settle and Matt Furey use a similar email marketing style as Tony.

Never heard of the guy. Then again, I'm not really involved much in the IM niche. But from a quick glance, it seems he is similar in style to Ben Settle, Matt Furey and Travis Sago (which reminds me... why on earth isn't there more stuff from Travis Sago shared around here? Besides being an absolutely genuine and honest-to-god good guy, unlike most he is actually a FANTASTIC teacher who makes things easy to learn)
Anyhow, not meaning to hijack the thread, lol... Seems Tony does a lot of emails that are personality- and story-driven. It's definitely a great model :- )
I have downloaded some of Ben's stuff and heard Tony mention him. Seems like Ben is a "hard ass" when it comes to clients and what he practices. Ben pushes the envelope when it comes being borderline obnoxious, almost like a rich jerk, but not flouting it.
I have not read enough of Ben's stuff to fully say, but I think for people building lists, you would lose more than you would gain.
I also believe that Tony achieves that same thing with his mailing list (slowly removing the people he doesn't want on it), but does it in a far more subtle way. Yes Tony offends people at times, but rarely.
So I am guessing you got Tony's white label rights or you are just completely rewriting and sharing his techniques?

I will ask, is Travis Sago still doing stuff, have not seen his name anywhere in years. I did receive an email from him on November 28th of last year, but beyond that, it was November 2018. I forgot now, is he the one that did the keyword tool or is he the bum marketer, some of the emails I still have say he is the blue collar millionaire. I think the reason his stuff is not shared around here, is probably he is not doing much. Which begs the question, is he a successful role to follow or did he go back to a job? Anyone know?
As for Ben, see my comments above. Never seen anything of Matt's, heard the name.

Would not following Tony's solo ads thing do the job if you followed it to the letter. It is made for the MMO, yes it is not focused, but if you feel you can capture the attention of people that end up on your list. Of course you need your funnel built like Tony.
I actually though his solo ads combined with his free traffic provided an excellent strategy for building a list.
Note: if you do a search for shepherd on here, you will find he has some older stuff on how to build a responsive list, that one is more of his old way of doing things, but there might be nuggets.
Yeah, Travis was the bum marketing guy. Then he came out with Get Your Ex Back, with the silly name of T-Dub.
I'm using Tony's ideas but totally rewriting it using my examples. I have pretty much everything from Tony available here. I certainly will use his methods, just impatient is all. I agree about Ben, Matt Furey softens that style a bit.
I already had a small list so I know how to do Tony's email marketing.

I really think you're on the right track. His stuff rewritten and updated with your own stories added in should be a winner. I'd write a killer report and start giving it away in FB MMO and Internet Marketing groups. This should help to build your list.
Also, I think Tony's way of doing things has to be seen as a long term strategy. Patience is required but in the end you'll win big and you won't have to kill yourself or lie to people to make it happen.
