This is a very misunderstood concept.

So, how long could you get by with the amount of money you have right now? How many days would you survive if you stopped working today?
If you are like most people, not many.
The reason you are not wealthy is because you work for money.
You trade your time for a paycheck instead of trading your time to create assets that produce cash flow.
The way to become wealthy is by creating assets that make you money over and over again.
And, although I am fond of investing in other businesses like real estate, that is not the only asset that brings you monthly cash flow.

There is nothing worse than bad financial advice.
Take this age-old guidance for example.
“Get a good education so you can get a good job and be secure for life.”
First of all, this is totally obsolete in the information age.
And second, this is good only if you plan to live paycheck to paycheck - FOREVER!
OR
What about this advice you probably hear very often.
"Live below your means."
I call this a scam. "Live below your means" is a poor mindset. It teaches you to think too narrowly.
Why teach someone to cut down on their expenses and deprive themselves?
I do not understand!
Instead, why not teach them to be creative in making more money?
There is a limit on how much you can cut down on expenses, but there is no limit on how much more money you can make!
The rich people I know do not worry about living below their means.
Rather than focusing their mental energy on cutting expenses, they use it to grow their means.
STOP asking…
“How can I live below my means?”
And, instead, ask…
“How can I expand my means?”
