tony robbins et all all claim to know the "secret" and claim to "share" the "secret" but all those filthy rich gurus are just full of it. You want to know the real secret?

Hey thanks for your feedback- I think I understand what you're getting at, and a lot of us would agree in certain ways, but Tony really shows a different, arguably more down to earth side to himself, and really, to the SELF-HELP/SHELF-HELP industry in general, and that's why I'm encouraging others to watch these videos, whether anyone's a Tony fan or not-

What I mean is, I figure why not get some true, honest feedback about the industry, and what it really means to be an "expert," from the "Tom Cruise" of the motivational-self-help industry- We all know you can't top Tony Robbins, love him or hate him, or somewhere in between- So I say let's listen to what the "King" of this industry has to say-

And what does he have to say? An immense amount about what someone is really taking on if/when they decide they want to be an "expert-"

I would recommend to anyone just go through the first video, where Tony ironically, basically tries to talk everyone out of wanting to become an "expert-" He makes it clear that if any of us are strictly going after money, fame, recognition, validation, significance, "mattering," then, when/if we finally achieve it, we will be sorely disappointed (he explains the reasons why this is in the video)-

And I said this earlier but Tony also makes it clear that if someone is pursuing this "expert status" and position, they need to be ready and willing to possibly pursue this for many years WITHOUT ANY PAY, MONEY, OR COMPENSATION-

And connected to this idea, Tony also discusses how the true "expert," should really call themselves, and consider themselves, a SERVANT to all- And he talks about how in Latin, the word for HERO is actually SERVO, which is the root word for SERVANT, and then he talks about how the SERVANT or HERO is really someone who lives their life in SACRIFICE FOR OTHERS, even to the point that they are willing to give their LIFE for others, and THAT makes them the true HEROES, SERVANTS, "EXPERTS" of our world-

(You can't see the audience in the video at this point, but I can just imagine and wonder how many in the audience were squirming in their seats as they take some good, long hard looks at themselves and their true motivations lol)-

In any case I recommend anyone check just the first video for some very interesting insights and revelations-

let me give you 1 example but i could give you 100's...

suze orman, what does she know about finance, i'd say f**k all, yet she is an EXPERT on TV ...making MILLIONS!

WHY? Simple she has marketed/promoted her ass off thats why!

and cos she is on TV the sheeple fall for her BS, BASICALLY........perception is reality!

Tony is a master manipulator, I suspect that future history will acknowledge Tony as one of the great con-men of our time.

Thanks for your feedback as well- You know you'll always hold a special place in my heart as you helped me crack the 1000 rep mark (unless you soon decide to take away some of my reps lol!)

So I hear what you're saying, and I remember from your last post your complete disdain for Tony, yes, and it sounded, and continues to sound like all the other "gurus" out there who are full of "B.S.' and are strictly going for the millions and couldn't care less about the people they are supposedly "serving," like you are saying about Suze Ormond as well in your opinion-

But I will respectfully disagree with you about what I've said and shared from the videos, and I will continue to stand by my words, as I feel there isn't a shred of "B.S.' in them at all actually-

Let's take Tony, Suze, and any other similar "ilk" out of the equation, and instead focus on the "common people" in the audience- Just John and Jane who are out there wanting to truly "Help" others with their expertise-

Are you really trying to say that Tony's advice, suggestions, and admonitions to them about making sure they are clear and pure about their purpose, because they may have to go years without any money, without any compensation- That THAT advice is purely B.S.? Are you taking what seems like a thoroughly cynical stance that ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY who desires to bring their areas of expertise to the masses, to actually, genuinely HELP people and possibly benefit people's lives, for a lifetime, that this is terrible B.S. advice to give them?

So, let's take Tony out of the equation- Sure there are thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of people out there who would go to bat for Tony any day and maintain their stance that Tony has unquestionably benefitted their lives, with effects that will last a lifetime- And Tony would maintain the stance that his life has always been about helping, and serving others- Yes, you, I, or anyone can call "B.S.' on that-

But are you really trying to say that ANYBODY who pursues a career bringing their skills and areas of expertise to the masses, is realy just deep down a complete B.S. con artist? Or are there certain niches or areas of expertise that you feel are more genuine, maybe more WORTHY and DERSERVING of a following of millions of people and making millions of dollars? Or are you saying that ANYBODY who TRULY DESIRES to HELP people, should actually be willing to do it for FREE or ALMOST FREE, and trying to CAPITALIZE on your area of expertise, trying to MONETIZE it in any way, is completely, wrong, evil, and NEVER JUSTIFIED?

Just wondering if that's what you're really getting at-
