Hosting is optional, when your hosting account is not compactible. Usually bluehost users.

Guys, please share your experience about the deliveribility of your amazon ses account. it's been long time sinse this service started, anyone can share if the emails still hitting inbox.

As long as you clean your list from bounces... You're good to go. Bounces is not good for any email marketing system.
