Go through Video 2 and Video 3 again (Sorry, but that's the only way to get a totally clean install)
Some installations of Windows can be rather fickle and various people do have quite different experiences with it; this is none so more apparent than I've experienced in these BBHF forums with the members who install the software (Cracked or with serials etc.) that I supply.
Some who religeously follow the step-by-steps to the letter experience extreme troubles and issues and have to be coached through every twist and turn to get them correctly installed whilst a majority who also follow the step-by-steps to the letter have a pleasurable experience and the software goes straight in..
Who'd have knowed it? LOL
Check the following location after you have installed Camtasia:
Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio 8\RegInfo.ini
Open the 'RegInfo.ini' file using Notepad and sometimes it comes up blank (For some strange reason)
If it is blank, do the following:
Copy and paste the following details into your 'RegInfo.ini' file and save it (Fill in the necessary information in the rows required, use the exact same Multi-User Serial Number you used during the installation process.)
Code:
[RegistrationInfo]
RegisteredTo= YOUR NAME HERE
RegistrationKey= THE EXACT SAME MULTI-USER SERIAL NUMBER YOU USED HERE
ValidationData1=
ValidationData2=1
ValidationData3=0
ValidationData4=
ValidationData5=exNQ,?cV!l0{m-,R
As long as your 'RegInfo.ini' file has the above details (ValidationData5= may contain slightly different coding on your installation) you should be good to go from here on in..
The 'RegInfo.ini' file reflects the serial number used at the time of installation and is recorded in the 'Registry Editor' files..
Regards..
