The GW Interview (in the Interviews folder) is where there's some Real Estate talk.
While it remains to be proven (and my opinion is worth the same as anyone else's i.e. zero without data) ... I suspect there are terrific opportunities in this approach and I'm looking forward to running some tests and generating some meaningful data to make a data-based (not opinion-based) assessment. It'll be a few weeks yet before I can do it, but I shall. The test budget will be trivial.
It'll be more difficult to assess the value of the branding impact; especially when it's personal services aimed at small local markets I've found that videos can offer a lot more punch than traditional FB ads -- as in, people walking up to the featured person in the street or restaurants and saying they saw the video, they're pleased to meet him/her, and asking for a business card -- never happened once with image ads -- but meaningful metrics on branding are a challenge.
We know that people interested in moving into a certain small town for example typically have 3 top-of-mind topics -- school catchment areas that serve schools for kids of different ages; plans for local mass transit; and can they find a realtor who speaks their language? A suite of 3 short videos aimed at folks who've already been to the Realtor's web site can connect with each one of these topics beautifully and with personality on display, with a meaningful CTA of course. I want to test the impact versus an image ad -- my suspicion is that the video ads will perform in a completely different League. To be proven or invalidated through testing! But when commission runs to $25K for a single sale ... getting a CTA from even that one extra person kinda justifies the test.
