For everyone who wants a good protection against viruses:
I am using a virtual machine (Virtual Box) with Windows XP. Inside that virtual machine I am using Sandboxie.
The VM protects all the data which are on my host system in case there's a virus that likes to spy, find login credentials or something similar and sends that to the virus creator. If the virus runs on the guest system inside the VM, it cannot get any data on the host system.
The sandbox inside the VM protects my guest system, since I don't want to have to install it again and again every time I've got a virus. I simply delete the contents of the sandbox.
That should be perfectly safe.
