This is a comprehensive course that has nothing to do with internet marketing. It is completely based on traditional marketing methods that I myself employed while doing home improvement sales, except for the tactic that is more explicitly explained in the course, which is doing bulk mailing for cheap. The other Bob Ross thread has expanded sections on this tactic and i'm sure it's effective, people have been generating business like this for ages. The only drawback, I suppose is that if you are marketing to other businesses, they are most likely doing something like this already.

I have a couple of home improvement clients under me already and I couldn't sell them on what is taught here because they already employ those tactics. But as lead gen for my own sites, it could come in handy, although I am mostly BtoB and this works more for BtoC.

Most of his products are just a "hidden" pitch for his printing gig. The methods he talks about have been in use for ages. He just likes to talk about them and ads plenty of fluff to even the simplest ideas.

The good part is that if you have no idea about direct mail or are still a newbie at it, you will get enough to get you going. Just don't forget that he wants to be your printer, so "everything" seems to be easy and very profitable and there is no competition! lol
