You are absolutely correct, 50 installs won't push your app to Google Play top :)
All global monsters of mobile market buy regularly incentivized installs to keep TOP positions of current apps or to promote fresh apps on the market.
And yep, users who install incents as a rule then uninstall app within a week. On the other hand, constant flow of new incentivized installs gives growth of ranking among countries and on key words search of the promoted app. Namely this brings top-quality organic downloads from Google Play search.
You may test ours or any other service for incentivized installs to promote newly approved Google Play app. Try to boost it, for example, with 3-5k installs and you will see real growth of your app ranking in play Market.
