Watch this video here and follow the instructions Carefully and slowly the 1st time until you get used to it.
also do not choose 1080P bitrate unless you have a Quad Core PC with 6 Megs or more.
I use 720P with my dual core 4 meg machine and its very good.

Best vid on this, i have done hangouts with manycam and this vid gives you more control like letting it run a few times is a must. Because at any given time it can chop on you and when you let it run you get a better chance at a perfect stream then trim it. I assume you would have to keep going through the whole process with commando if it did not come out good the first time. Great vid. Rep bro

The Wirecast software works best on a Quad Processor with 6mgs of memory or better. But I do use it with my Dual Core which only has 4 megs of memory. But I make sure that all other applications on my PC are not running. I use system care pro which was shared here to keep an eye on what PC resources are being used. Another thing that may happen with a particular video is even that it may be a mp4, the codec code could be funky. So what I do at times is run the video through
Code:
online-convert.com
and convert the video into either MOV or WMV format in addition to watching how much of my resources are being used.. Turn off as many things as you can in the background on your pc as possible. Also do a complete virus scan on your machine as well. All in all a video that is uploaded through live events on YT rank better and faster and seem to take priority with Google and Youtube as far as ranking goes. To me it's been worth the effort.

You are mostly correct, but not in my case. I'm still running Windows Vista simply because it still works for me, but WireCaster only runs on Windows 7 or newer.

Tube Live Commando is the only way that I know of to stream a pre-recorded video as a live event through YouTube on Windows Vista.

I don't know of any other way.
