Your right about the number of copy-cat plugins entering the market. The best form of flattery is imitation. BackJacker was the first plugin of this kind and others have tried to duplicate what it an do.

We all know that big G isn't using Google Analytics for determining a websites usability score. The true factor that matters when it comes to how your site ranks in the SERPs in terms of bounce rate is how often a visitor comes to your site from a search engine, then returns to the same search page by hitting the back button. If you are looking for something that just boosts your Google Analytic score but has no real affect on how your site appears to Google, Yahoo, or Bing than you might be interested in the competition's product that lacks tons of the features of BackJacker.

With our latest version of BackJacker Ultimate we have added a new de-bounce feature. With BackJacker, you can inject multiple URLs into the back button stack, another feature found only in BackJacker. With our new de-bounce options, if someone goes through all of your injected links and still hits back, it will not direct them to the original search page. You can set it so it would send the user to either a final URL over and over again, or you could send them back to the referring domain.

Take this as an example, if you are running BackJacker Ultimate on your site for purple widgets, if someone went to Google and searched Purple Widgets, it would take them to a page like https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#safe=...le+widgets. If they then clicked on your site and hit back, it would trigger the set of pages/posts or external URLs that you had configured in BackJacker. With our new de-bounce feature enabled, if you set the configuration to return traffic to the referring domain and the user completed the cycle of configured URLs and continues to hit back it would send the user to http://www.google.com instead of the original search result page. This will not trigger a bounce in the eyes of the search engine as it would appear that the user was just typing in Google into the address bar again!
