1. Does it work on most desktop browsers? (firefox, chrome ,etc)
2. Does it work perfectly for mobile users? (all features)
3. I know there's a chance that Google will penalize you for this. Do you have any security measures to avoid penalization?
4. Could you please explain a bit more about the change cookie thing? How does it work?
And also, is it possible to have a 50% coupon for the ultimate? I'm willing to post an honest review :)
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your interest in BackJacker.
1) Currently BackJacker works in all modern desktop browsers. The only feature in Ultimate that is a bit tricky is our Exit Jacker which is optional and is the most advanced Exit Popup I have ever seen. While most exit popup scripts fire as soon as someone attempts to leave the page, ours actually only fires when someone tries to leave your site only by typing something new in the address bar or hitting the back button too many times. We will not Exit Jack someone following an affiliate link or any other links on your site. The other amazing part of our Exit Jacker is no matter what a user responds with whether it be leave the site or stay on page, we can redirect them to the URL you specify. The Exit Jacker works flawless in IE and Windows Safari, but has some issues when choosing leave the site on Chrome. We disabled it completely in FireFox and we are not sure what OSX did in their latest version of Safari but it seems like they broke Exit Popup functionality all together. Other than that all of the features of BackJacker Ultimate work in today's modern browsers.
2) The BackJacker functions work across all of the mobile devices I have tested on using different browsers from Safari and Chrome on IOS to Chrome and the default browser on Android. Exit Jacker does not work on mobile browsers.
3) In BackJacker Ultimate we do have a feature to disable BackJacker when a bot visits your page. We also have the ability to enter in an IP list should you subscribe to any bot lists. Should anything visit your site with a bot useragent or with an IP matching the list, BackJacker does not enable itself and stays under the radar. It is recommended not to use any type of page caching plugins if you enable this function though as your cached page will be served to anything that visits whether it is a bot or not.
4) You can configure BackJacker to be more stealth in Ultimate by automatically renaming the installation folder as well as the cookie name. To leave as little footprint behind as possible, you can let the script randomly choose the installation folder and cookie name on a periodic basis.
Unfortunately we do not have the 50% discount running any longer. You can take BackJacker Ultimate for a spin and confirm that it performs to your expectations. We also provide all of our trial users a 10% discount code via email a couple of days into your trial.
If you are interested in our 3 day trial please let me know and I will shoot the info to you.

So all features are working perfectly (back button, etc), except for the exit jacker. Am I right?
The problem is, I have W3 Total Cache and Cloudflare installed on my site (and I don't think I can remove them). If I will disable the "disable BackJacker when a bot visits your page" function, would it be a huge footprint for Google?
I think it's an important feature. The bots might go crazy if I ever disable that.

I am not sure about how CloudFlare works as I have not used it in quite a while.

You can do some testing on your own if you get the trial and download a browser plugin that allows you to change your useragent, or if you want to use the IP list function. To use the IP list tool you do need to enable the box to check for bots.

Have there been updates to the Firefox issue?
Are you guys continuing to try and resolve that issue in different ways?

(01-24-2015 11:23 PM)FortuneFinder Wrote: [ -> ]Have there been updates to the Firefox issue? The Firefox issue only revolves around Exit Jacker and not the core functionality of BackJacker itself. The issue is being worked on in regards to Exit Jacker though. We are going to be releasing an update hopefully within 24 hours which actually improves the core BackJacker functionality. In early testing it looks like Exit Jacker in Firefox is running properly in this new version as well.
Are you guys continuing to try and resolve that issue in different ways?
I will post an update when this version is released as well as an update on Exit Jacker and Firefox.
