Yes, it's working similar. They are all email marketing software for sending bulk mailing list. But this software can integrate Amazon SES SMTP from 0,1$/1000 emails so the sending cost is much cheaper. See http://aws.amazon.com/ses/

you can't register if you live in Vietnam. But very little trick to successfully register for Vietnamese like me: just use proxy or VPN program then woala....
