google adsense only gives earnings on clicks right? not views? any one can confirm this?

2 days with zero earnings
Started friday
Then today monday.

Working hour is mon to fri only so its already 2 days zero earnings.

They give small earning on impressions but else only on clicks.
I decided not to buy this and instead buy and micro niche website. I hope to make more money with that.
