For those asking the same question (see below): *The exe file is a downloader. Scanned and ok with latest AVG. Once downloaded it fetches the correct files.

(06-01-2015 09:45 AM)polar Wrote: [ -> ]Can anybody please confirm. What I downloaded is a 1 Mb EXE file. Is that correct? Is this safe?

This download seems to be missing the OTO templates. When watching the tut-video, you see the links from amazonaws. But they require an access ID key. Would be nice to get access to those templates. Does anybody have an uptodate mirrored link?

Quick update on the EXE file. Just got this AVG popup :

Threat: Adware Generic6.AWOM
Object name: <C:/path/.../image_suite.exe
Severity: Medium
State: infected

Threat has been successfully removed
I don't see any .exe file !!!

The size of the plugin is less that 1Mb !! I will recheck it again !
Drood, the one I shared on my post #38 is the OTO and it come with all the other features missing on the FE offer!! I don't know which one are you referring to on your post ...
@Demomeb: The 1 Mb file I am referring to is what you get in your download when choosing "SolidFiles". They work with a downloader exe. But in the end you get the requested files. Only drawback seems to be that they try to install a malware. AVG removed the file, and I noticed that according to the "Windows Control panel" I must have installed a software package "GoToMeeting" (instal date 31/05/2015). Since I have no recollection of this install, I must assume this must be bogus. So, for your information, this does NOT conflict with the ImageSuite files, just a heads up for anyone downloading from this provider.

About the included OTOs in post #38: The first URL (https://www.copy.com/s/SwJRBh0gMIFCmN0Q) gives an error : There doesn't seem to be anything here.
You're trying to view a link that does not exist.

The second URL with the bonuses is OK.

What I wrote about missing templates... sorry, my bad, wrong topic ;)
Yeah, the copy.com link given in Post#38 doesn't have anything, like polar the noob said.

@polar: Anytime you go to a download link, make sure you don't see any boxes marked 'download with xxxxx program/download accelerator' or whatever else. Some of these download sites have them. So just be sure you don't download anything but the file you want... or you'll seriously regret it.

@demomeb: Please check that dl link and update when you get the chance, bro.

Thanks!

Like Big Daddy said...any of the mirror sites look for little check boxes that say something like "use our downloader" or any variation of that...if you start a download and it says it's an .exe cancel that bleeper immediately, delete what did download if you can and go back and look for some microscopic check box....oh and run your malware/spyware/antivirus stuff too...

I had to set up a clean only for online banking and transactions computer because my kids and wife could not figure this stuff out...

Best of luck in the future as you move from noob to boob like the rest of us...:)
Can you upload it again
Thanks
