Uh, not unless you consider $6.50 an hour "real money". The manager?
He's not doing a whole lot better, but he is making more. The franchise
owner is the one really cashing in.
Why? He's not stuck behind a counter making hundreds of sandwiches
every day. He's telling other people what to do. He has the smarts to
tell other people what to do, pay them a little fraction of his profits,
and pocket the rest. Which is a LOT of money.
The brilliant thing about the internet is that you can do that too, and
you don't need thousands of dollars to get started. I mean, you won't
get any free sandwiches, but still!
This method is NOT a time-sucker.
