It's not out of date at all. In fact, It's even more useful today than it was when it first launched. Exactly why I created the thread.

Marketing fundamentals and this particular method of obtaining leads and clients is pretty much timeless. (evergreen)

As I said in a previous thread. This sh.it isn't produce, there's no expiration date on it. It doesn't grow moldy and you don't throw it away because it's past its stamped date. *shaking head* Update it with your unique services and methods. Anything that is dated like a link or "google local" can easily be changed and modified or replaced.

What I've found with most people with this "expiration" mentality is all they do is chase after the latest "new thing" that is floating out of some guru's product pipeline. Jumping from one method or product to the next before the last one is even finished downloading.

Listen, it doesn't have to be a "seminar," nor does it have to be another job.

Use meetup, start your own "local list," hang at the chamber of commerce, put together a local direct mail campaign.

If you've been online for a while and know how to set up sites, a bit of seo, social media etc. (easily learned on here you are like a god to people who don't know any of that shi.t. Most local businesses are clueless when it come to the internet. They are busy doing their thing, and having a life, they don't have time for it. Help them and they'll help you.

Even a small group of people can make you a lot of money in the long term. What if you made a grand for a couple of hours shooting the shit with a bunch of business owners? What if the majority of them became long term clients? What if they threw money at you every month?
