D***H*** answer above to the original post. It's a genuine question.
The true answer is pick one and stick with it. Back in the olden days of the internet everyone typed out http://www.domain.com . Nowadays most people except for some older people don't bother. If you type www or non-www you will be re-directed to the correct place regardless of what was picked as the chosen format. The search engines see them the same way, pick one and always use that (although if link building you can switch back and forth for link diversity reasons). I haven't used www in many, many years, if that's worth anything. Most modern sites don't bother, it is completely unnecessary nowadays but it's up to you. |

If you are doing SEO, as stated in the question, you would be wise to Google 'rel=canonical' - though TBH - if you have a WP site with any SEO plugin it's probably already taken care of.
