[help] anyone know about WordPress and the files in it
I need a little help to sort a slight issue out with a site of mine.
i need to know if anyone knows what this directory does. Code: /wp-includes/images/wlw/1/onlineI was hacked a few days ago, now ive set the site back up, i see that via the database i get targeted links to that URL anyone know what it is or does |

Only directory does not indicate anything. You have to see files inside this directory. Usualy hackers upload their shell files inside such directories

From my experience there should not be a /wlw/1/online directory. I would say you have been hacked if you did not upload this directory. Check your site for added users that you haven't approved or added. If you would like more specific help PM me and I will only be too glad to help out.

Rename the files after images - 2/2 or something.
The images in the includes dolder are the images that belong to the theme / wordpress so if you replaced that folder with the one from the the original wordpress instal or upgrade to 4.3 and replace the includes folder you should be ok. Do this through cpanel |
