So, I buckled down, devoured as many courses and books as I could get my hands on, and took action. I had to get something to work. The first thing I tried was SEO – Search Engine Optimization. Basically, getting websites ranked #1 in Google. I followed the guides to a T. I did everything I was supposed to do, and… It Worked! I Started Getting Traffic And Sales Right Away! My websites were ranked in a few weeks! People were visiting my pages! They were buying my products! I was stunned! It was a huge amount of work getting these websites to the top of Google, but it was worth it. All my hard efforts were finally paying off! So you can imagine how disappointed I was when I woke up one morning to find all my websites dumped from the front page of Google. They were thrown out like yesterdays news! The traffic was gone… along with all the sales. All my hard work, all those hours… wasted! I didn’t know it at the time, but what happened was a “Google Slap”. That’s when Google changes it’s algorithms and makes you start over again at zero. I learned my lesson the hard way! I’d never rely on Google again as a consistent traffic source. Time to take matters into my own hands. Here’s How I Tapped Into Millions Of Sizzling Hot Leads… 100% FREE I got this idea from my brilliant girlfriend and business partner, Roxanne. She suggested we share high quality content in Facebook groups and recommend people visit our landing pages for more info. So we tested it out. And that worked fairly well too. And you have to patiently wait and politely remind people. Definitely not the best strategy if you need sales now. I was ready to throw in the towel. No matter where I turned there was problem after problem. Either I had to rely on Google and their ticking time bomb, or spend 12 hours a day posting in Facebook groups. Or I could beg and plead and give up half my profits to affiliates… it just didn’t seem right. Something was missing “This can’t seriously be how all the experts do it?” My wheels where spinning and I didn’t know why. I was putting in all this effort and wasn’t going anywhere. And sitting there, stewing in frustration it hit me like a ton of bricks. The answer was right in front of me the whole time! The REAL Reason Most Traffic Sources Eventually Fail… Is because you don’t have control over them! In almost every case, someone else controls the flow of traffic. Until you start paying for advertising, you don’t have any real control over your business! You’ll always be in “reaction mode”. You’ll always be playing “catch up.” Until you break free from “reaction mode” the fate of your business will lie in the hands of others. The only way to do this? Start investing in advertising! I couldn’t believe how simple it was. I had never even considered buying traffic.
