Seen this before too... Seems from just before when the forum was attacked...

This has a problem - using Animoto videos without the paid business account (>$600/year) is illegal. The license also only holds as long as you maintain the biz account with them - if you quit, the videos become illegal - as they remain their property forever (you only get a license, see the trick here?)...

Review:

1) Make promotional videos for local clients (florists, electricians, etc).
2) Call them up and tell them you have made them a video which you charge $99, plus $39/monthly for placing it on YouTube and marketing it.
3) Profit

Conclusion: The same methods with different titles.

I'm sure if someone wanted to do this they could find another way to make the videos. There are many different kinds of software out there that can make some professional looking ones.

Yep, you can make them with Photodex or Pinnacle Video Studio.

There, the video is yours to use as you please. You only need to find a proper royalty free sound track. Pinnacke already contains some music and even cuts the soundtrack exactly to your desired lenght...
