wont they just do a serp scrape and find all the domains that use xenforo with no license ?

no, it would not.
most companies in a similar field have always done it.
weather they can enforce it or not is a different think.
but they already know the footprints, put in a massive bland keyword list, and then compare (with a script) all licensed domains with the domains they found in scrape.
