What I found spying on another SEO company. Is this safe?

One of the common concerns about the SEO Toolbar is something along the lines of "does it phone home" or "are you spying on us" or "what data is it sending you". Some SEO companies offer a huge EULA and do spy on the people who use their toolbars, but we do not do that for a number of reasons
I felt rather angry when that well known SEO company outed my site (and haven't really trusted them since then)
I never really liked the idea of spying on customers, and going down that path could harm our perceived brand value
knowing that information is kept private adds value and builds trust
we are already under-staffed (running quite lean) and have more projects to work on than time, so we are not in need of new projectss

Dude I've seen worst, a lot of methods that people think that are dead unusable, are still working now, go check Russian SEO sites they still use link farming as a backbone for their spamming strategy.

To think that "Google is a dumb search engine" it's a really bad habit. I know a few people who did. I laughed silently over their amazed faces when they couldn't find their websites anywhere in SERPs Just wait...

its also a matter of what niche you promote. for adult stuff you can send direct link spam to your money pages and it still works. i promote tons of adult sites since years with direct links from xrumer and my own tools and have yet to see a single site banned. they all rank ..i have domains that get link spam since +10 years and google still sends traffic to them :D

of course with payday loans that dosn't work anymore (or viagra haha) as its a niche that gets manual attention from google. i have a few customers that promote payday and use argo content for PBN's to promote their sites and it works well for them. so "buffer sites"/ PBN's do the trick for those , but generally there are many niches were you can still use direct link spam.

of course google isn't dumb, but they also aren't alyways ahead of the game as some ppl think. when matt cutts says you shouldn't do somthing, then it offten ment thats exactly what you should do to game the serps haha.
i've been doing seo since around 1999. i've seen many tricks to game the serps and many of the old tricks still work today, despite the propaganda. the problem is that in the SEO world there is too many people on forums talking bullshit, especially whitehats. its always best to try things yourself and see if they work and not just repeat what some self proclaimed seo "guru" says. ;)

Most of the companies listed on Moz are bunch of jokers. A client of mine hired 1 expert from searchengineland and he was boasting how knowledgeable he is in SEO. After 2 months the report which he sent to my client was extremely horrible. It was completely useless report for which this guy got paid $5000.

Dont get persuaded by "SEO Experts" and their flashy profiles on moz and other sites.
