Video Optimization Question
What do you guys use for video compression?

I'm looking to update some of my software and seeing what else people are using. I'm
not really a big video guy and could use a hand here.

I
have a a 7gb set of vids I want to up, but I know they can be
compressed to at least a 3rd of that since they are HD. The files are
mp4 and optimized for TV. I'd like to squeeze them down for
internet/computer viewing.

Thanks, but I'm looking to compress them down to smaller sizes. What's the easiest way to optimize them for small file size?

Try Hand Brake

Code:
http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
An other solid way to do it is to upload the video to YouTube and then download it using a firefox browser extension to download Youtube Vids.
Or you can go to this website
Code:
http://keepvid.com/
That works for sure everytime
I hope this helps
Cool

Uploading to youtube, downloading again, reuploading. er, um, ahhhhhh, no.. lol

Handbrake looks like it might work. Thanks.

BTW - Check out flashgot for firefox or net videohunter, they both work great for download shit from the net.
I'm hooked on flashgot. It adds quick links to your right click menu and makes grabbing files quick and easy especially from S3.

I just need something to compress very large files. 1 disk is 3 and a half hours.
