Just throwing away money.

Bottleneck will hit network. Components are from desktop segment. Just add graphics card and sell it to some hipster.

Much better results can be achived with 1-2U rack with XEON chips + Intel I350-T4 - with ESXi over it. And it will be cheaper then 3.5k

I also keep a server in a separate room so it doesn't heat up the room I'm working in, you got a nice rig there

can't compare with lines to a datacenter but this is "free" one-time cost and no restrictions, you can walk over to it and upgrade/ hotswap out anything

did you really need the 1200w corsair? Intels new chips are close to 50w now, and nvidia's titan is using much less power and it's always improving, I always thought over 1000w was overkill, lol newegg must have had a rebate on that

Yeah and way slower bro. Look at some benchmark results. 99% of xeon chips can't be o/c. This will beat out any single xeon chip and most dual xeon setups. Look at http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html the 3930k benches at 12,000, and the 50% o/c brings it up to around 18,000. To build something faster you need to be looking at dual xeons which start at $1700 per cpu and up.

Unless your talking about building a dozen seperate xeon systems with $300 chips, but you can't multiply them together to run a single application which defeats the purpose of the advantage of a single CPU.

not to mention the licencing costs to run windows, and seo tools. All the best seo tool's cant be cracked well so i have another $2000 in seo tools on here. Try replicatating that over multiple computer systems.

I acutally took a OVH server and split it into 12 VM's and ran 12 copies of senuke on it because its not a reseource intensive application. It was a major pain in the ass to manage all those systems. If you check out my website and see the quadcore senuke templates I put up there, I designed them just so that I wouldnt have to send so much time managing all my copies of senuke. These are the biggest templates on the net. But not im ranting :D

And yes 1200 is a bit overkill with no video cards, but I eventually wish to toss in a o/c dual xeon setup in here where the power load may be needed. I got the PSU for 50% off at a local sale so I couldnt pass it up and came with the red sleved wiring too for free. I believe the CPU is drawing close to about 300 watts at 1.46 volts. Then there is ram, board, +10 fans, water pump HD ect to power it. This PSU has a management system software that can tell you how much power consumption each component is using. I have yet to set that up but I am interested to know exactly how much it is drawing. If I was to build it again for someone else I would do it for less than $3000 and reduce some of the components.

And yes no video cards. its not needed for seo work. I installed a cheapy just o

dang edit button is not working...

I installed a cheap video card just to setup windows and then took it out.

RE:
PC is blazing fast. I have been pushing it with 100% CPU load and average 50% ram load running zenno poster, scrapebox, GSA SER and xrumer and I couldnt be happier.

I have a few SEO's that loved my machine so much that I am building and shipping a few of these. They are a slightly varied version of this with 32GB ram, and using the new I7-4930K chip intel just releasd which is approx 10% faster that the 3930K that I have in mine. They are $3200 which includes a overclock to 4.6GHZ, and a wet test to ensure no water leaks and a legit license of windows 2008 R2 so that you can remote access your PC from anywhere, even your phone which I do on occasion.

Anyone wants to know more let me know :)
