RE: THE ULTIMATE POLL - STOPPING SPAM POSTS
@leolo

Most people would say thank you shortly after getting the course, and the same goes for saying they added rep. Most thread bumps aren't from people saying thanks, it's the people who don't pay attention to the dates and usually end up necroing threads anywhere between 1 to 3 years old, and most of the threads haven't seen any activity since shortly after the coupon was posted. Or it's people who got the course and never said thank you in the first place, then they bump the thread giving a meaningless thank you. That is when the bumps start or people fail to notice dates posted and they assume that it's a new thread.

I would like to add this option:

- Maximum of 3 posts in two days, or 4 posts in one week.

- Thank you, or +rep are allowed within a reasonable amount of time.

- We will send the person who breaks the rules a reminder and add their name to a list and ask them to please refrain from bumping so many threads in the future. If they break the rules again then we report them to mods.
