********** DO NOT IGNORE THIS THREAD - IT'S THE LAST TRY TO SAVE UDEMY SECTION FROM DAILY 24 HOURS SPAMMERS ********

This poll was created to set the most acceptable limits for BBHF members for bumping old threads on Udemy section before considering someone is a SPAMMER, add him to the top spammers list, and get him reported.

Before voting on this poll you must:

1- read this thread:

Extra Options

Unfortunately I can't add any extra options to a poll once it's published, so if you want any other options rather than the four options above, you can vote by reply to this thread with your choice:

Option #5 (3 votes): prohibit all bumps, every single bump is a spam
Chosen by:
Azazel: http://bestblackhatforum.com/User-Azazel
Somebody: http://bestblackhatforum.com/User-Somebody
Groggy: http://bestblackhatforum.com/User-groggy

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
this poll will last for 7 days, after that we will add the limits the original spam reporting post (check it here):

>>> Don't forget to reply to this thread by your opinion and why did you choose this option <<<<
Hi,
I opted for option #1 because it will be fair to all members regardless of their reps count and it is the most constraining : communities need new rules as the environment is evolving.

Keep on the good work!
thanks for the effort and going extra mile to help keep the forum clean. Thanks 42rock

I voted for #2. 46nod
Reasons:
#3 and #4 are too restrictive due to reps requirement. Should this be implemented, it will lead to spam users just to reps ones other accounts 9giggle

#1 - is nice but considering that harldy 5-10% of members would read and follow the *new* Udemy section rules, we might end up having too many spammers. 15evilgrin

Sorry, Option #5 is too harsh. 4sadsmile

Therefore, I opted for #2.

Thanks, Cg
I don't think bumping should be allowed in this section at all. Can't see how at least in theory it can produce some positive results.
I vote for Option #5

Add a thank you button to the forum like some other forums, and bump a thread only if the instructor of that course is present in that thread.

For more explanation I copy my post in the other topic:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I have some suggestions for this section,

Since bumping a thread for a coupon, is usually pointless, we can ask for rules to totally prohibit this activity, unless the instructor of that course is present in the thread (udemy instructors can have a special tag so other members will know them)

Otherwise, most of the guys who post coupons here, have no access to create extra ones and only share what they find. So if they find a new coupon, they will share, if they don't find anything new, well there is nothing to share and asking them for new coupons would be completely pointless.

Also, we really need a "thanks button" like many other forums, If we want to thank someone we can click on the "Add Reputation" button, but it seems that many members don't find it enough, so we can introduce a thank you button to avoid bumping an old thread with "thank you" posts.

These things need some moderation and a couple sticky threads, but would make this forum very tidy and increase user experience a lot, I believe.

PS: the codes being messed up in this forum is really unhelpful and annoying.
thanks all for your support, Somebody and Azazel, your vote for option #5 had been added :)
fouadfo2sh, thanks for adding my vote, too (for option #5). If we stop the culture of "bumping" and let users know we don't do it anymore, that's not "harsh", just practical. WHO in their spare time wants to count spam attempts per day or per week to police those that don't/won't read or follow the rules. Of course, this isn't a rule (new or otherwise) but it would SIMPLIFY everyone's life.

You're most welcome groggy, although I don't agree with your point of view, but I respect every BBHF member opinion, and thanks for voting, supporting the idea
Great news, groggy got asked by the admins to rewrite and cleanup the the udemy 100% free rules, he sent asking me for the new limits for bumping old threads, and since the limits are not added yet due to the poll is not over yet, I want you guys, BBHF community and loyal members to:

1- vote for this poll, never hesitate
2- notice that there's an extra option #5, to prohibit all bumps on old threads, to add your voice on option#5 reply to this message and I will add your voice to the option #5 on this thread

this bump is not for spamming purpose, and I'm not asking for reps.. this is for the BBHF community and saving the most important source for Udemy Coupons on the internet nowadays
you voting for 5 you dorealize nomore "thanks" and I rep you ? there is No thank you buttons... check any threads the bumps are mainly causedby those,.. Ivote for 2. most just realist.
