Scammer in the Forum! Have i been scammed?

Hi, Rubber Man is a scammer and he is in the forum. I wanted to register Google Play developer account. But i havent credit card that accepts on internet. so i wanted to buy VCC (virtual credit card) I saw his post on this forum.

First time i sent $35 via paypal (friends and family). Problem turned out and even if is hard he refunded and he requested the money as BTC. I paid $35 BTC via VirWox, he is saying not received. But i contacted virwox support, also i paid $42 for send $35 on virwox. He verified my paypal via vcc but not send main vcc.

Have I been scammed successfully? Please help me.

Virwox send blockchain links and said the man is lying. He isnt replying me anymore!

On a positive note, you learned a great deal for just $42 - if you send money to complete strangers using untraceable virtual currency, you will probably never see that money again.

Also, Rubber Man is probably not even from the Philippines - as most 'Pinos are honest. Rubber Man is probably Nigerian - they just love scamming gullible n0obs.

On the flip side, you are very wrong. I am a Nigerian, I bought vcc from rubberman often, but before he took off with my $10, he hasn't been consistent, and this is a man I had paid $20 for vcc and he delivered all, so it might be the earthquake or he has turned wrong man, but he is no Nigerian.

This has been the experience to me. But first time he refunded my paypal funds and requested as btc (Maybe this was part of his scam tactic..)

Also i contacted with new owner of his number. I learned he changed his number and new owner is trying to learn old owner's name.

1 day ago he called me on skype (rubber man)? i missed, and saw him as online but he still does not answer.

I still have a chance to get my vcc.

How cheap is the trust of people. Beings with no human emotion.

What can i do in this matter, besides "drinking a cold water on it"? :(

maybe i can create new skype and test him to check if he still lives and still sells vccs and scamming and learn his name, phone etc's? But it does not have any benefits.

VirWox is legit, the guy that called @Rubberman may scammed you. Sad for you bro. And I'll never ever recommend using vcc for google developers account! Beware, using payment directly send through BTC is so high risk.
