One other tool I use is Multiple HTML File Maker by http://internet-soft.com/ . I have a few sites where it is quite common for visitors to add regions to their searches (cities/towns). In an xl sheet you list e.g cities, information on those cities, product/service details. You then make an html template and replace special characters with the imported details from the xl sheet. You can replace in the; html title, meta tags, general text, images, etc. Press the button and it takes a few seconds to generate 10,000+ unique, individual pages each with its unique html name from the xl sheet. You can then mass update all the pages in seconds by updating detail in the xl sheet and running the tool again. You can even replace details in the Googles maps API so you can have an individual customised map on each page The software cost something like $30 so cheaper than even developing it for yourself. # before I get slammed for quality over quantity this should form part of your SEO.
