RE: [SECURITY] How To Detect Malicious Code In Nulled or Free WordPress Themes and Plugins
People need regular reminders that a lot of the characters sharing have infected themes and plugins and then they ask downloaders to give them +rep all the while knowing that their malware shares are infecting servers not just individual sites on shared servers. Malware contains traffic-stealing code from ALL sites on infected servers or malware will load popups on yours and others websites without the owners knowledge or malware can use your site/server or computer as a mule for illegal and immoral activities.

This is a blackhat forum and they are sharing this on all types of forums where leechers want "free" stuff. A good rule of thumb is to buy your own themes and plugins like I do unless you want to open thousands of Wordpress files searching for malware code which is also in .png image files like social.png.

Install Wordfence and Jetpack which includes Bruteprotect on your Wordpress sites to scan and protect your sites regularly. Also, check your Wordpress stats to see if there's been any traffic dips or unusual activities if you do install "shares" on your Wordpress site.
