RE: [REQ] videopal
@kazzz, how would login sharing work with cloud-based software like Video Pal? (OmniXpress is like that too) where your videos, images, (websites like in OX) and other content is hosted in the cloud through your account. If several people shared the same account, all of our videos and content would be in the same account. Not sure how well that would work. But I'm open to ideas on how to make it work. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tip, btw, I can definitely use it for other kinds of apps/logins too :)

.
Buyers beware...

I've been looking at and considering buying this app (pending more feedback), and I just found another thread about VideoPal here: http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-videopalapp-dot-com

talking about this:

videopal. It requires that you pay an extra $67 for agency rights. Something not mentioned in sales pitch

NOT COOL VideoPal. Really not cool...

Not bashing on Samuraiwarrior, who probably didn't know about that, just informing everyone else who may be considering this app.

Yes the branding sucks. Perhaps someone interested in the agency part can swap links with me and then we save at least 50% if the agency part is also getting the 50% commission

That's seriously uncool...anything just to get you to pay even more!!! I don't care how good it is you should do a PP dispute straight away to refund and piss them off with the dispute!

COMMENT + BONUSES FOR PURCHASING VIDEOPAL AGENCY

I wish to comment and highlight about the negative comments about the need to get the agency license.
On the one hand, it seems "unfair" on the part of the vendor as it seems a tactic to "force" people to get agency license.

On the other hand, many who has negative comments, you do not know the value of the agency.
I purchased during the pre-launch, did a simple video, showed my client, and charge an additional $250 just to put Video Pal into the website I am creating.

It only takes me 10 minutes to create.
10 minutes work to get $250.
And you complain about having to make one time payment of $67???

See how much it costs to get a basic 3D animation of Fiverr. And it costs much more on sites like Freelancer.com or Guru.com.

RE: [REQ] videopal
Every example I see of this seems to get hung up and lag....If I was going to put this on a client site it needs to work smoothly every time. Otherwise it's just a fancy distraction.

Anyone else experiencing this? Samuraii has some samples on his BSO thread.

RE: [REQ] videopal
Can someone purchase just the agency license directly or you have to purchase the front end product as well first for everything to work properly?

RE: [REQ] videopal
I just posted a major issue with the agency license:
http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-vide...pid2005840

update: they updated the system and now you can choose generic domains.
