Having an SSL does really help with rankings. I know Jack and he does put out decent stuff. I think that offering business this service is a good idea. I use siteground hosting and I get my SSLs from Lets Encrypt through my hosting.

Many small business owners dont know the benefit of an SSL...I didn't until about 6 months ago and I create and own a lot of sites as well as being involved in SEO.

I have not seen the course but the idea does seem like a solid enough plan, if owners do know about SSL then they simply say no...onto the next potential client...very often its simply a numbers game.
