This approach is at least 15-20 YEARS old . . . someone just created a new super-duper colorful indicator that will magically get you in perfect trades now and re-named it so they can hawk it to new traders looking for a Holy Grail.
Hint: Neither RSI nor Stochastics consistently works the way "everyone" knows to use them. Sure, in a strong trend, almost every retracement will make money . . . unless you're a contrarian and just have to be right and tried to pick a top or bottom for the 10th straight time. Price action and market structure will tell you where an RSI or stochastic indicator will be printing without even needing them on the charts to clutter things up. That leaves more room for support and resistance -- and different kinds of support and resistance -- or did you think all support and resistance was the same? It's not. Divergence? ROTFL! Do you REALLY think if it was that easy everyone and his brother wouldn't be trading each divergence signal and all be $Millionaires? There is no fast, easy answer. There is no Holy Grail indicator. It takes time and work . . . until things click and you see what is being done right in front of your very eyes. Then you start taking small bites out . . . then more frequently . . . then bigger and more frequently . . . and you have a license to create money out of thin air. Sure, your margin is always at risk, in the beginning and while you're getting good, but sooner than you think (IF you learn to understand what I've written), your account will have grown so much you will have been playing with house money for decades.
