Please help me understand what is the point to post a comment to unlock the links?

In my opinion, the replies can get a bit spammy but I understand the reasoning. It helps protect the links and gives them a bit more longevity. Someone has to make the effort to register an account and comment to get the link instead of just coming across the thread and freely grabbing the link.

Post To Unlock Was Implemented By The Forum Admin, To Encourage Active Participation On Important Threads.

This Helps To Keep Threads Alive And Visible.

It Also Helps To See And Know Who Opened A Thread In Case There Is A Leak. This Helps To Protect Mega.nz Share Links.
