If you are accusing me of suggesting the entire udemy section should be banned, you are making a false accusation. It is a very true and valid observation reviews can make or break almost any product, no doubt, however, and I am sure this is an arguable point, the instructors might rely on the fact that, the students who got a course for free could be less inclined to leave a bad review since they got the course as a nice gesture in the first place, in other words, it might be a little hard to spit on the hand that feeds you, in a sense.Even if the course is bad and we know there are tons of them that really are (udemy looks like the new Eldorado nowadays everybody wants to dig gold *somehow*) one might just "let it go" and move on looking for a decent one with actual true and useful learning.
It is a whole different situation if you actually paid for the course, of course, just a thought.
