RE: [READ] I need to get something of my chest
Couldn't agree more with all that's been said. I recently took down one of my posts that got over 1650 views in just a matter of days, yet didn't receive a single rep or comment!!! The authors and moderators of this great forum can surely think of ways to at least get these freeloaders and leechers to cough up comments and reps for people who contribute. Enuf said...

After doing so, neither one of these members sent reps or even as much said "thanks for the re-ups". Now I know, the forum doesn't require members to rep for items they download, but sending reps is a common courtesy. I ALWAYS send reps if I download a share. In fact there has been many times I have sent 20+ reps to a member.

Both of these people are "junior members" so even if both sent reps, it was only going to be 25 reps or so, that's not going to make or break my day, but it's the principle. If you got time to download something, you've got time to send a sharer reps.

I'm almost hoping these two members request more re-ups from me. I will reply to their request by telling them "It's not going to happen. Your just a give me this, give me that type of person."

OK, my rant is over, we now return you to your regularly scheduled program.:)

I hear you brother (or is it sister?).

I have attempted to back fill some of the threads you started and they pop up with Reup Requests. If I have it, I attempt to place a new link for it.

Why? Because I have gotten a HUGE amount of AWESOME shares from this site and from YOU.

And just like you, if I download something, no matter the quality of the share, I drop a minimum of 5 Rep Points. Just seems like the very minimum I can do to support the person doing the share.

I mean it costs nothing more than the click of a button to do and still the % of reps I get compared to the number of people that download is sad.

I am not even close to the amount of time and energy you have given to BBHF. My share count is a pittance compared to you. But I do know what you are talking about.

While I do feel your pain, I hope that you will continue to share with us as I for one highly appreciate your presence and the value you bring to all of us.

Cheers,

G.S.

People are now about ME, ME, ME ....

And have no respect of the time and effort others put in to help them

A simple thank you goes a long way

StillStanding, you are always helpful. It is a courtesy to leave reps for re-ups. Thanks for your contribution.

Sorry to hear about your good nature being abused. Thanks for being patient and considering all requests. Some people haven't quite got the hang of the polite culture here at BBHF. The rest of us appreciate your efforts, THANK YOU SS!!

I agree completely . . . and add my thanks for you starting this thread and pointing this out again as have so many others through the recent years.

I'm pretty sure I learned the stacking of reps from you years ago and have done it ever since.

Like everyone else here, you have my thumbs up vote entirely- I have made a few posts over the past year about this- As you can imagine I get hit up quite a bit to put back up all of the Pure Platinum classic shares that have expired- And I did so for a time, but what I noticed time and time again was, in response for my assistance- Crickets- No Thank You, No "You're the Best Theo"- No hey can I buy you a Steak and Beer- NADA!

Here's a post where I Layne, and Gordon Shumway discuss this unfortunate deterioration of "manners" yes here at our beloved forum, but really not to be pessimistic, but is happening everywhere-

https://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-Ama...pid3593363

On another thread, where I have gotten hit up numerous times to put up the Ultra-Rare Tony Robbins "Opening the Kimono" 4 video talk he did for Brendon Burchard's group in 2009- There is no doubt that the multiple revelations about the seedy underbelly of the "shelf-help" industry was probably "too candid," and Brendon pulled those videos off of every possible source for obtaining them- Yes, I still have them of course, but I won't be putting them up here again-

The last time I put them up was last Thanksgiving- I steered people to the discussion about reps in as gentle a manner possible- Within one hour the videos had been downloaded like 15 times- How many "Thanks Theo I'm going to name my next son after you" comments do you think I got? How many 1-5 reps did I get? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

You can see the drama and the trauma here...

https://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-TON...ny+robbins

I took the videos down after a quick hour- DONE! ;^)

Of course, like you, I'm not hung up about the reps, that's not the point- Heck I'm currently sitting at 9946 reps- So close to 10,000!!!!!!!

And I have some incredible GOLD to put up here that I KNOW will push me over the 10,000 mark in less than a day from all of the good people here- But I don't care anymore- Sorry to sound so cynical and negative, but that's what's happened here-

OK rant done! Thank YOU for all of your awesome books- Great stuff as always! Be well-

Theo

I agree with you too and others who have added their support to StillStanding.

Thanks for saying again that which needed repeating.

The "takers" underestimate their shortsightedness, IMO. For every share they take, someone had to give the share and the time and effort to make it available.

If someone puts out a big bowl of Halloween candy with a sign, "Please take 1-2 pieces," and every 15-minutes when they look out they see the bowl has been dumped into someone's sack . . . How many times can they expect it to be re-filled?

RE: [READ] I need to get something off my chest
Heyyyy! Celebration Day!!

Thank you guys for your unending generosity- You pushed me over the highly coveted 10,000 rep mark! Thank you!

Thanks StillStanding for your generosity and willingness to hit that button multiple times! And thank you Lumos and Eurotrader for pushing me over the edge as well! You guys are the best-

The net time I put up some absolute Gold (which will be soon) it's going straight to you guys, and I'll be "considering" putting it up here at the forum-

So thanks again! Owe you all one!

Wow- Need to give more shout outs! Thank you guys again, I REALLY appreciate it- Gordon good buddy you also held the button down thank you, Milo76 you as well- and happyifthi- haven’t met you before but thank you as well- You guys all rock- Think I’ll celebrate the 10K mark with some chocolate milk, and maybe crack open a vintage Dan Kennedy- I got his newest book last week by the way, which is an update of the no BS Guide to Succeeding in Business by Breaking All the Rules- Good stuff! I have the old one but he made some good updates- Like changing references to football players Joe Montana and Steve Young to Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes lol- Anyway have a good one! Thank you again-
