Personal - I'm in kind of a desperate situation

I feel awkward asking for help like this, but I'm in kind of a desperate situation.

making money, but right now I need some quick cash.

You see a few days ago my nephew Pete passed away, we loved him so much.

All of my family lives in Reno, NV where he passed.

Pete's mom, my sister, is stuck in Alaska working a remote, high profile
murder trial. And I want to go to Reno to help her with funeral arrangements,
but I can't afford it.

You see my wife and I moved here to Arizona from Reno 2 years ago to treat
my depression, which I got after retiring from 31 years of military service.

I'm doing a lot better now, but I feel I need to go back to Reno to help
my sister out with the funeral arrangements.

In the past few years my wife and I lost our new home in the housing crises,
then the next year my dad passed away.

As a result of all the associated travel and financial hit we took loosing the house
we accumulated $15,000 of debt which is making it impossible to get back to Reno right now.

My sister is a nationally ranked court reporter and has a closed captioning
business.

She is one of only a few people qualified to work with this deaf judge,
so she's stuck in Alaska and can't get back to Reno until the job is done,
which should be in a week or so.

If you're interested in helping me get back to Reno, I need to know how I can
make a quick $1,000.

I`m so sorry that i can't help you.I`m really a poor guy.But the only thing that puzzles me is that you've been on this forum for almost 1 year now and you have +5.000 posts and you still didn't figured a way to make $1000?

What have you been doing in all this time here?You should have a stable IM income by now.
