POLL: Which Wordpress Theme Should I Buy, Newspaper or WP Prosperity?

Hello fellow BBHF members, I have money for ONLY 1 premium Wordpress theme and I've been carefully choosing between these two awesome themes, Newspaper or WP Prosperity. Both are versatile themes and both are multi-functional. But I just want to read about your honest opinion and your choice between them. Which is the better theme, and why?

Thanks dccountrydz . I know Bimber is a cool theme and a lot of members are requesting about that. However, I'm choosing only between WP Prosperity and Newspaper as I can use them in multiple niche sites whereas Bimber is built for viral stories websites.

In term of speed and the ease of use and manage, I'll go with WP Prosperity.

It depends on why you want to buy either of them. They are different in their purpose and functionality. The other detail is that you can get Newspaper latest versions on BBHF, so better to get WP Prosperity and share it :)

I would actually get the WP Prosperity child theme because the Prosperity parent theme can be found online. I have wp prosperity 2.6.1 if you want me to upload it?

I have used newspaper on multiple sites, and the big benefit of the theme the huge variety of layouts / blocks and the ability to create custom posts / pages but also category layouts. Additionally you can change colors / fonts, etc. on a micro level.

I like wp-prosperity and it's child theme because the look which is very similar to Genesis but a cheaper option to buy. The layouts are very clean and well defined. I like the widgets available in the child theme.

Thanks Pixelate for your comprehensive input. I also have the exact thing in mind. When it comes to pre-defined layouts, Newspaper has the edge. It is also neat. I have already subscriber to the other thread (WP Prosperity) I have downloaded the theme. The problem is that, the tutorials are restricted to people who purchased the theme. I would be glad if I can have the access to the code for the Wide page layout. (That's what I want). Let's still hear from the others before I decide which one to buy, but anyways, thanks a lot! +Reps

Yeah the latest thing is the full width layouts ( images going to the edge of the browser window ). In Newspaper, I found it an issue trying to get the CSS modified to do that without a lot of CSS changes. That may be become the layout stuff is wrapped within Visual Composer layouts?

The CSS in WP Prosperity / child themes are much more basic and easy to change than it seems in Newspaper. So if you don't need to modify the CSS much then that's not an issue but for more customization that can make it more time consuming.

Thanks Pixelate. I am really thinking between these two themes right now and I'm not in a hurry. I hope other members can also share their opinions just like you do.

My observation:

Newspaper: Pre-defined layouts, minimal effort to set up the layouts.
WP Prosperity: Neat and organized layouts, WIDE sidebar. Full width homepages.
