No Etsy Business ! WHAT DO YOU THING???

I think that ETSY should be looked at as a side-hustle option these days. Not only are sales hard to get due to the increased competition, but ETSY's revenue share fees have increased also.

While personalized items appear to be great, the extra work may not be worth the effort in the long run. Instead, create some beautifully designed stuff and leave the sales trickle in as and when. Then focus on areas where you can make more money like you said, Adsense...

Have you already built your own website? I would keep the Etsy store for now and make sure to funnel everyone who purchases from Etsy to your own website.

But your main focus should be your own website with store. Use Woocommerce (free) or Shopify (monthly fee).

Also consider Gumroad and Payhip. Don't forget to use Pinterest to promote your listings. I know their traffic is becoming less, but it will help especially if you have pin templates to save time.

Hi berlinerin!

I sell on Etsy, Gumroad and a few others, and while not getting rich (Don't listen to the GuRu's) I do make a decent monthly income from my efforts.

I sell mainly T's and mugs and nothing else. Why just this?

I create what I sell around what is in the news, no more no less. Not very easy with journals and planners when they are a dime a thousand.

I found out the hard (spell it expensive) way that if you are trying to sell the exact same crap as 10,000 other people, you will make the same thing they are making, N O T H I N G!

I love to create unique sayings about politics and what is happening everyday and people love it. I say love it because I am saying what they want to say and they feel that they now have a personal say about what it is, and because of this there is always money in my PayPal account!

I also have my own website under my sellers name and I have great images of the products that I sell on all the main sites with purchase links back to those sites and it works for me.

I also post comments and my views on a lot of sites like Funbook and Twister with images of my products with links back to my website which in turn goes to the actual selling platform.

So don't abandon ship just yet.

Really think outside the box and never, never, never ever continue to try to sell what is not selling, duplicate crap.

I have now till today made 565 Euro. Most are because of German mothers day and fathers day.
But there are so many Fees. And imagine... now we have June - I worked hard on this from March 2022 for only 565 Dollar.

In this I got 100 Dollar from Etsy Ads for free. Because I uploaded more than 20 Articles. That was a challenge from Etsy.

133 Sales, 15 Reviews - 100 Dollar Etsy Ads (free for me). With the Etsy Ads I made 8 sales, but it is because of the German holidays!

If you count it in hours = 0,02 cent in an hour! Appr.

When it came to Fathers day ... oh my good.... So many questions and chats and....
really.... MUCH WORK. Questions from woman:

- I can not open the file (Zip file) Please send other file.
- My 7-year daughter has a big hand. Format A4 was too little for her, so she made the hand beside :( *oh god!
- do not except this purchase until you can make it till tomorrow!
(I have made it in 15 minutes!)

Yes Vintage and others are good.

Because ALL of your shops suspended is because you used for all of your Shops the SAME IP !!
Etsy shuts down all Shops in the same IP!

Here is blackhatforum learn to use another IP.

I have learned it from many Youtube Videos! This thing with the IPs.
