my best advice to you:- have a 'light' but shiny edition on REPO, with a link to your site, for those interested in additional or premium functionality, make the pro sweet enough that they at the very least click through, but the demo not S***** enough so that they pass it by.
I can tell you now from my own perspective, popup plugins are a dime a dozen, almost every theme, and plug framework has it built-in. When u find a good one u stick to it, and not even remotely interested in replacing it. make sure its BS3.2 compliant, fully stylable as an option, but adapts to underlying themes,. approach it more from the marketing angle, if u havnt already.. The big money now and for a while , few are capitilizing on it and is probably one of the least saturated areas is Affiliate Marketing, and providing intuitive autopilot methods of pulling and pushing products to and from all the major feeds, too many of the good plugs for this are either outdated, only connect to a handful of merchants, or are stupidly priced with poor support.. Worth consideration would be porting ur plug to the likes of magento, even having a pure JS option.\ I am presently biased on the whole AFF Feeds.. but act now or i might beat u to it :P uve got quite the headstart |
