[My Honest Review] ClipsReel
Are you interested in ClipsReel? Do yourself a favor by not buying it.
The service does not work. Some bugs that I have found: 1) If you save your project, when you resume it you lost all the changes you made; 2) Have you chosen a custom font? The system always creates your videos with the same basic font; 3) Text not spelled correctly; 4) Text is not aligned correctly and very often is broke. ClipsReel really sucks. I have already requested a refund and will never buy from these guys again! Here is the sales page (Great work but behind it there is a crap product): Magic Button : If someone has bought ClipsReel and wants to leave his impressions, he can do it. Thank You!

I haven't used ClipsReel but seems like it is very similar to Lumen5. I got a free Lumen5 yearly membership a few months ago on App Sumo. Haven't used it much.

Read the fine print in their refund policy:
"Customers requesting a return within 14 days of purchase must be approved by our customer service team if the customer provides evidence that their case merits a return." I bought another product from the same provider (Abhi) and it didn't work as described. I kept getting referred to someone on the "team" for support, but they never could fix the issue. Finally, I realized that they were trying to run out the 14-day clock, so I threatened a Paypal chargeback. Even that didn't work, and I went ahead with the chargeback. Even then they STILL tried to avoid giving a refund by offering credit for another product instead. They are REALLY tight-fisted about giving refunds. |
