Mail-marketing niches
Hello,
At these days were the big players own 90% of the traffic and revenues which makes advertising more and more expensive I read something about email-marketing. That's the work flow we are talking about: Untargeted traffic -> landing page -> interested users submit their email-address -> once a week the users will get a message with relevant URLs and stuff. I'm talking about double opt-in addresses by the way. My main-question is which niches could be promoted with that kind of technique, do anybody have some experiences? RE: Mail-marketing niches
That's pretty much how whitehat marketing works. In theory that system should work for all those niches, but I recommend emailing your leads more than once a week. You don't want to email them too much either, but in my experience and for what I've heard from clients, the "sweet spot" is normally 3 times a week.
Depending on your niche, then how you use those 3 emails will change. You don't want to spam them with offers in all 3 emails, you have to either keep a balance of free information/content and offers, or you can use a sequence where you'll tease your offer and finally send it in the last email of that sequence. All niches have their differences and not all lists are created equal, basically, you'll have to try different methods to see what works best for your list. |
