LongTailPlatinum 2.3.6 Workaround

First of all, let's give credit to daoudi.amine09 for the LTPlatinum Solution he made here .
However, some peeps are having a hard time catching up, so I made a quick guide.


My LTPlatinum 3.6 is working as of post time. I use Windows 8 Pro x86.


Quick Guide:


1. Just to make sure everything would go as planned, uninstall the previous Long Tail program from your computer. It is recommended to use Revo Uninstaller in order to delete everything related to the program.
2. Install the LongTail Pro 2.2.2 Version (Note: Do Not Update Yet) and Crack by IMCOOL.
3. Run LongTail Pro and enter credentials provided in the cracked version. Upgrade to Platinum. Close LTP.
4. Run LTP and update to latest version. After updating, close LTP. Copy the updated longtailpro.swf and save it on your desktop. If the LTP reverted from Platinum to Pro, copy the crack from IMCOOL to the LTP install location. Run LTP and upgrade to Platinum.
5. Copy the updated longtailpro.swf and paste it over the cracked version.
6.Run as date LTP using these settings. (Note try to make the date a little early as 2 weeks. Mine is a whole month early.)

IMPORTANT!!

Sometimes when you create a shortcut via runasdate the program does not work properly. Try to make a new shortcut on your desktop (right-click>new>shortcut) and paste this: C:\RunAsDateLocation\RunAsDate.exe /movetime /returntime 3 01\08\2013 00:00:00 "C:\LongTailPro Location\LongTailPro.exe". Replace RunAsDateLocation with the location of your RunAsDate program and LongTailPro Location with your LTP install location.

Note:
1. Before you get keywords, make sure to check if your adwords account is successfully logged on by clicking the show keyword planner link.
2. If you encounter the warning "we have detected..." just click "the remind me later" link.

After that I was looking all day and try all the ways to solve the problem of this program, i tried evrything "adobe flash professional, flash builder, adobe air..... and finally i found a way to do that.

This is not a flame from Chikkozero, it seems what he/she has tried to do, is ASSIST the not so savvy, cannot understand your 1 hour long video of this workaround for LTP.

You have both been given +REP and you have both contributed, that is what BBHF is about and that is why you have 2 threads, similar, but both different :-)

Run in compatibility mode for an earlier windows version.

Would be helpful if you posted a link to download LTP. THat thread of is filed with requests to crack and other gibberish!
