I have some questions:

1) How many backlinks should be needed to get ranked better?
2) Is it harmful to create tons of backlinks on the same day? Which number is safe?
3) How DA/PA value will be increased? Does it need certain number of backlinks?
4) I know "no-follow" links are also now valuable according to the present Google algorithm, but then what other benefits "do-follow" links carry?

1) There are so many variables involved. The keyword that you want to rank. Your competitors. How strong your page is now. And many more. you might need 1000 backlinks to rank keyword "Minecraft" but only 10 to rank "best Minecraft server for survival mode" (example).
The answer is - the more, the better, but they need to be good quality. Don't buy automated cheap links.
2) Manually you won't be able to create tons.
Anyway, consider this - a site goes viral (like many does each day on the internet), and it gets thousands of backlinks in a day. Do you think the site gets penalized? The answer is no, because the links come from actual websites, that aren't automatically generated spam links (like comment spam).
3) Impossible to tell, but it will increase. It depends on the backlink quality.
4) Do-follow links carry more link juice and that is why they are considered stronger. But that doesn't mean that no-follow links are worthless. They still carry weight and are good for diversity which seems natural.
