Which timeframe (H1, H4, D?) were they in while waiting for the arrow to show up? or in other words, how often do we need to look at the charts?

You don't have to look at the chart all the time because whenever there's arrow you'll be notified by an alarm sound. Of course like I said earlier the indicators repaints badly. So get ready for false alarm frequently but you won't be opening any entries just because arrows shows-up. This's where my PDF will guide you to take certain trade. If the conditions not fulfilled simply avoid the trade.
Simply said you won't be glued to the PC. After a while playing with this indicators, you will get the hang of it.

Sorry to burst your bubbles mate, this will be average-priced course just like any other courses out there. Cheap or expensive depends on your financial stability. I might probably give-out for first 10 members discounted price and that's it.

And on your remarks regarding being a small trader, I would suggest that you don't go LIVE on your trading yet until you find a right strategy.

If you need cheap course on trading with instant success rate, I believe internet is full of those. Just search. Heck, I even shared alot of their courses here so why don't find something that suits you without paying a dime. But I can tell you this though, none of the course I shared helped me in my trading career. I might learnt few tips and tricks here and they and that's it.
