Hello, I would like to start an adult site.
I do have an unlimited business hosting with hostgator and also I have a budget to buy domain (but having issue choosing a niche/keyword)
I also have no idea how can I make money from an adult site.
Please can anyone help me on this.

So, you want to work endless hours and lose money?

It is one of the hardest areas, very easy to enter, but to make money is another matter. If you haven't a clue, which looks likely from your post, then I'd start looking for forums that focus specifically on the adult niche, but be aware that many will probably be filled with 'pushers' for some useless affiliate offer.

Hopefully you'll pick up some good info from someone on here, but it isn't an easy road from all the comments I've seen.

I agree, it is very hard monetizing something that is freely available everywhere (porn)

your only feasible areas for a newbie would be promoting:

1. fleshlight or some sort of sex toy.
2. make your pecker bigger pills.
3. promoting cam services.

number 3 is what everyone does because to some people it is the equivalent to paying for a hooker.
alot of people love paying for sexual favors so thats why they pay for cams.

if you are getting into this you have to be a pervert or know how a perv thinks because it will help you make money a whole lot faster!

first you need to check with Host Gator if they even allows adult contents on their server. Recently Bluehost cancel my friend's account cause she had nude pics of herself on her site. She is a model, her photos are art nudes and not porn materials but they still close her account.

Go for it man. There is money in porn. Always has been, always will be. Yeah there is lots of free stuff out there and yeah it is harder now than it used to be but lots of people (like myself) still make a good living promoting adult websites and porn.

It is not too late to get into the business but keep in mind you have to treat it like work in order to succeed. There are so many ways to advertise now and so many tools in which to do it. Social networking sites are huge these days and should be on the top of your list to start promoting on. There is a wealth of information out there on the best ways to advertise on them so I would pick one of the sites and start learning/reading as much as you can. Try to find a mentor that can give you tips along the way. A lot of the gurus out there will be more receptive to helping you if you approach them and offer to help them. Offer to do some of the trivial things (things they would normally outsource) for free in exchange for some guidance from time to time. Alot of these guys have more ideas and plans than they do time and would welcome some free help with some of their simple, time-consuming things. Heck I could keep on writing and writing here but I think I may be starting to ramble so I'll close with this one thought.

Everything I know about marketing and making money online, I have learned from reading forums like this. I read everyday and I have learned so much from them. I'd suggest everyone do the same thing and don't be afraid to try new things, even if you fail. So many people just read the methods and ideas in them but never try any of them. That is a huge mistake.
