I Need Help With SMS Subscriptions...

Hi guys...
can some one please explain to me how is it posible that one of my phone numb... that ware on dumb MAXCON phone could register itself into some SMS subscription without me doing anything...exept paying for it?
Phone is a dumb phone it was not on a smart phone... with android and shit... it was on dumb maxcon phone but I still "replyed" to the sms without my knowledge and got billed for it....
Can anyone please tell me how they did it?
What kind of god powers do they have to sub and bill me to something I do not know or want to be a part of...
To be clear... SMS conformation was send... but not from my phone (as I checked my traffic with my provider) It is there but not under send sms in my phone... I didnt send it... and also my phone is not smart phone...
So I have no F****** idea how are they scamming me and 10000+ of other people with the same thing... as I'm checking the web...
Can please some one tell me how they do it? WTF is the problem here?

Could be possible that another person had access to your chip card, or your phone number was cloned?

What SMS did they subscribe you to?
A possible explanation is that the SMS company (or someone with a relationship to the company if they have an affiliate program) bought a huge list of numbers, a virtual phone emulator program, and then set up shop filling in subscribe forms and then faking the 'confirm' SMS.

My number on that phone is leaked. I get bout 2 calls per week from some weird indian dudes that want to send me some scam.
I did not reply to the sms... and phone was on my table beside me. I got 1sms with a conformation and I didnt tuch the phone... until the 2nd one came then when I read both... I was all ready subscribed.
As I see this there 3 options.
no 1. My High end MAXCOM phone has some backdoor... maybe true some hidden sms can a reply be send?
no 2. Some one at my Phone comp works with these fuckers skimin its users
no 3. There is some security hole in my gsm provider that they can abuse.
or maybe 4th aliens did it?
I dont know how this is posible... but I'm not the only one thas is complaining bout this. It it would be my smart phone ok that may be infeceted... but this dumb Maxcon? That I mostly do not use for personal use just for some regs and stuff...

This is weird... I contacted the company that has this and said that I did not send sms and I will go to great lengs to figure out what was the problem here... and they issued me a refund... its only for 5 buck the cash here is not the problem its the principle... scamming people like that is not ok. you scam 50k of users like that... give maybe to 100 that are bitching bout it a refound and bill other 49k for 5 eur. thats bout 250k of eur... in one run of this shit. SO any info on this is welcome!

How hard would it be for you to go to another phone and service provider? It doesn't sound like you're using a phone that's much more sophisticated than having DIAL/ANSWER/SMS features.

BTW...I have the opposite of a dumb phone and I still get calls from some foreign dude that wants to sell me misc. crap.

My favorite tactic is to ask them to repeat themselves, OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Like:
I'm sorry I can barely hear you would you say that again?
No, I only heard about 1/2 of what you said, please repeat.
I almost heard you that time but I still don't know what you want.
Let me ask my mother if it's OK for me to talk to strangers.
You called yesterday and I told you I was reporting you to the police.

It looks like it was an inside Job... when I started to poke round and said to them that they will be reported etc... they quickly changed the tune and refund my money... saying that it was a "system bug"

But any ways I'm changing the provider... if they have security/staff holes/leaks/scams... this is a precursor to something bigger like...
