How to get traffic for free

I have launched an social exchange site and I want to get more traffic but i don't know so many methods that really work, i tried some but all is only robot traffic.

Would you have any other methods that could bring 20k to 30k visitors in a months time that doesn't cost money?

why do you want 20K visitors?
and not expect to pay for it?
everything in life costs money, if you want to make a few dollars you need to spend a few dollars
if you want to make a lot of dollars you need to spend a lot of dollars!
or you have to give people a reason to visit, the key word is give!
